The next SPHECC clinical governance day will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Lecture Theatre in Glasgow on 20th February 2018.
SPHECC is the Scottish Pre-hospital Emergency Critical Care Clinical Governance Day and is free and open to anyone and everyone interested in Pre-hospital Critical Care. As you can see by the programme this will involve 3 interesting cases from the 3 pre-hospital care teams in addition to very informative talks from the Coastguard, SORT, Trauma Desk, an update on the new Scottish Joint Clinical Guidelines and an update regarding the Advanced Paramedic Practitioner trial in Glasgow.
Registration will open at 10-10.30 and the day will close at approximately 15:30. As the event is free to attend unfortunately lunch cannot be provided on the day but there are plenty of coffee shops and a M&S close to the Lecture Theatre where lunch can be purchased during the lunch break. Coffee however will be provided in the morning break.
For anyone keen to register, this can be done by completing the following link:
Unfortunately parking at the QUEH is quite limited and we would advise using public transport wherever possible. More information regarding getting to QUEH can be found at the following link: http://www.nhsggc.org.uk/patients-and-visitors/transport-travel-parking/transport/queen-elizabeth-university-hospital-campus/#
