About Christine

Christine registered as an RMN in 1998 and started her career as a staff nurse caring for older adults with dementia in a hospital setting.

Later working in varied clinical settings including older adults, acute admission, and crisis services as a staff and Community Psychiatric Nurse.  Then became a Senior Charge Nurse caring for older adults presenting with symptoms of stress and distress related to a diagnosis of Dementia.

Christine is the Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Nurse Consultant in NHS Borders and has been in this post for nearly 3 years.
