Funding
  1. Please note that BASICS Scotland educational activity is financially supported by NHS Education for Scotland (NES). For the purpose of negotiating future funding support for courses, it is important to BASICS Scotland that you answer the following question:
  2. Personal fundingHealth Board/Employer funding
  3. Personal funding - payment can be made online via the BASICS Scotland shop or by cheque. Payment will only be requested once your place on the course has been confirmed.
  4. Health Board/Employer funding - a purchase order number must be included in order for BASICS Scotland to raise an invoice. Please use the space provided below to do this. Please also include the name and address of where the invoice is to be sent.
Cancellation Policy
  1. The BASICS Scotland Cancellation Policy applies to every course as follows:
  2. • Full refund given if cancelled 6 weeks prior to course.
  3. • Cancellations received between 2-6 weeks before the event will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% plus an additional £35 administration fee.
  4. • In certain circumstances, BASICS Scotland would be willing to waive the administration fee incurred during the 2-6 week cancellation period if course material is returned as new, however this is at BASICS Scotland's discretion.
  5. • If a cancellation is received within 2 weeks of the event, or the participant fails to attend, the full event fee is payable.
